The past few years have seen the transformation of our learning spaces and outdoor recreation areas into modern, open environments that promote creativity, collaboration and wellbeing. Students enjoy the use of technology and contemporary learning spaces to aid in their learning and social development.

At St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School Central Bankstown, students, teachers and our entire community thrive in our newly refurbished learning environment.

The Grounds

We have synthetic and grass and rubber laid on the Northam Ave end of the front playground. The alcove in the corner of the Northam Ave playground has soft fall and a bright all weather sail to create an outdoor learning area called ‘Penola Place’. We have recently had landscaping completed on our gardens and have a flourishing Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden.

Community Hub

Our Community Hub has been operating since 2014, currently funded by the Australian Government in partnership with the Scanlan Foundation, Settlement Services International, St Brendan’s and a grant from Bankstown Sports Club.
